HugPak understands that sometimes you just have a simple question that should be answered by the website but isn’t. Realizing this, we have tried to put together some of the most frequent questions we get from our customers. 1. Do you have any packaging products in stock?
A: Yes, we carry some packaging products in stock, eg. boxes, tubes, bags, label stickers, counter top displays and stand up displays. We can custom fabricate all orders.

2. How do I get a personalized price quote?
You can get a price quote by:

For most requests, a price quote is typically emailed within 1-2 working hours.  A complex project may take 24-48 hours.  Your dedicated account manager will keep you updated during the quoting process.

3. Can I have a sample made to size first?
A: Yes you can, although there may be a small charge for special designs, which is usually credited against your order. We want to make sure that you approve of what you are receiving.

4. Does HugPak charge a setup or design fees like some of the other suppliers do?
A: No. We do not charge a setup or plate fees regardless of the size of your order. We also do not charge any design fees. You will get one simple quotation. Higher quantity orders do result in lower per unit prices due to printing a larger number of products in one run can improve efficiency.

5. Is the sample charge can be refundable?
A: Yes, normally the sample charge can be refundable when you confirm the bulk production, but for the specific situation pls contact the people who follow up with your orders.

6. What is your minimum order quantity(MOQ)?
A: While our products technically have no minimum order quantities, recommended MOQs are in place(which will differ based on packaging type, printing, or process) to prevent individual unit prices from becoming too costly to recommend. Check with your product specialist to learn  the recommended MOQ of any of our products.

7. How long would it take to custom one type paper packaging boxes sample?
A: 3 to 7 days, based on type, style, and design.

8. How long would it take to produce bulk custom printed packaging orders?
A: Orders for hard copy samples can take 6-8 business days to produce depending on the complexity of the project.  Bulk orders are normally produced within 10-12 business days after the final artwork and order specifications have been approved. Please note that these timelines are approximate and can vary depending on the complexity of your particular project and the workload on our production facilities.  Your account manager will discuss the production timelines with you during the ordering process.

We also offer to expedite production plans to meet urgent project requirements.  If you have specific timelines that you need to meet, please make sure to discuss any such requirements with your account manager.

9. How do I upload my packaging artwork?
A: You can email your packaging artwork directly to your account manager. Your account manager will coordinate with our in house art team to conduct a free artwork evaluation and suggest any technical changes that may improve the quality of the final product.

10. What are the general guidelines for artwork creation and submission?
A: Please see below for general artwork submission guidelines:

File Formats:

  • Please submit your artwork in editable versions of AI, PDF, or EPS files.
  • Before saving your artwork, please make sure all fonts are curved and images are embedded.
  • If your artwork contains JPEG or PNG images, please ensure such images are higher resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

Color Schemes:

  • Color format matters.  Always, create your artwork in CMYK or Pantone colors for an accurate representation of the final printed colors.
  • RGB color format is designed for on-screen viewing only and is not compatible with color standards used in the printing process.  Please avoid creating your artwork in RGB.

 Fonts:

  • During font selection, always keep in mind the legibility of the desired fonts.
  • Cursive and intricate fonts look sharp on screen but do not always do so when printed.
  • We also recommend avoiding font sizes that are less than 5pt.

 Dielines & Bleeds:

  • You can always request a custom template or die line for any of the products that you are creating artworks for.
  • Typically, your artwork should extend a minimum of 1/8 inch (0.125’’) past the trim line.
  • We also recommend a safety margin of approximately 1/4 inch (0.25’’) on all sides to prevent text and other important design elements from being cut off.

12. Do you have a paper packaging price list?
A: We have a price list for the goods in stock. However, for customized packaging products, we do not have a price list, because all packaging is customized, little change will lead to price changes. We can quote you according to your detailed requirements.

13. My former packaging supplier let me down. Will you do anything to keep me going?
A: With pleasure. We have provided this custom packaging service to many customers, who usually order large quantities of packaging products from large companies in our packaging industry.

14. I’ve never custom paper packaging boxes and display stand before, will HugPak Packaging be interested?
A: Of course. More than half of our new customers place orders in small batches for the first time. We try to make it as easy as possible to decide what you want.

16. How long will I have to wait for a quotation?
A: We usually quote in hours not days. It’s absolutely no trouble for us to quote, we can also quote several quantities at the same time. The standard styles products in stock can be quoted in less than one hour by WhatsApp or email. Die-cuts and special grades may take a little longer time.

17. How to ensure the high quality of customized packaging boxes and displays?
A: We will send you photo and video for processing anytime. For any quality problems, we will make new ones for free and send you again.

18. What steps are involved in the custom packaging process?
A: The process of custom your branded paper packaging boxes consists of the following stages:

19. Can HugPak Packaging make large boxes?
A: Of course we can! For both standard and die-cut styles we have some of the largest machines available to convert our large size stock sheet into your packaging paper boxes.

20. Can my packaging boxes custom printed?
A: Yes. Don’t miss the opportunity to custom printing on your packaging box surface. Custom printed your logo and promote your company and product.

21. Can HugPak Packaging help me to choose the best type (design) of box?
A: Yes. We have experienced technical sales staff and in-house design facilities.
