The packaging box design of electronic products generally includes: mobile phone packaging box design, electrical appliance packaging box design, digital product packaging box design, instrument packaging box design, printing consumables packaging box design, CD packaging box design, etc. The packaging design of electronic products shall follow the principles of appropriateness, reliability, beauty and economy. As there are many kinds of electronic products, their performances are different, and their requirements are different, the problems considered in the design of electronic product packaging boxes are also different.
Requirements for design of electronic product packaging box
The prominent feature of electronic products is that they are more afraid of the threat of collision, extrusion, humidity, high temperature and electrostatic potential. Therefore, the packaging box process design of electronic products should focus on these basic requirements and take corresponding technical measures to control. Since most electronic products are precision industrial products, the packaging design should consider that the packaging can withstand certain external force collision and impact during transportation, handling and storage, so as to prevent damage to the shell or the components of the movement; It can resist the external force or the mutual extrusion of the packaging boxes in the stacking or transportation bumps, and prevent the deformation of the packaging or products; It can resist the wetting of fog, dew, rain and steam, and effectively prevent the oxidation, rust, short circuit and other problems of electronic products.
Technical control of electronic product packaging box design
In the daily production process, there are many defects in the packaging due to poor design considerations. For example, the lapping tongue on the side of the carton is placed on the front side in the plate making design, resulting in the flap buckle corresponding to the lapping tongue on the side after the carton is formed. In this way, on the one hand, it is easy to touch the overlapping tongue when the swing cover buckle is buckled. On the other hand, the carton after the buckle is buckled is affected by the thickness of the overlapping tongue and the lining, so that there is an obvious gap near the side of the overlapping tongue. Therefore, during plate making and imposition, the lapping tongue on the side shall be designed to be in the same plane as the swing cover tongue, so that the lapping part of the lapping tongue does not collide with the swing cover tongue, so as to ensure that there is no obvious gap in the formed swing cover tongue. In addition, whether the length of the lap tongue is designed properly affects the use effect of the packaging products. If the length of the lap tongue of the carton is designed too small, it is easy to cause mutual adhesion due to glue overflow during gluing and bonding. If the length of the lap tongue is too small, it is easy to make the adhesion and overall strength of the carton drop significantly, and affect the use effect of the packaging. Therefore, in general, the lap tongue length of small cartons is not less than 1.2cm, and the lap tongue length of cartons is not less than 2.6cm, so as to better ensure the adhesive strength and improve the use performance of packaging.
Precautions for packaging design of electronic products
(1) Performance of packaged products
The performance of the packaged product mainly includes the physical state, shape, strength, weight, structure, value and danger of the product. This is the first consideration when packaging.
① Product state. There are mainly solid, liquid, gaseous, mixed and so on. Different physical states have different packaging containers.
② Product appearance. There are mainly square, cylindrical, polygonal and special-shaped products. The packaging shall be designed according to the appearance characteristics of the products. The packaging shall be small, well fixed, stable and meet the requirements of standardization.
③ Product strength. For products with low strength and easy to be damaged, the protective performance of the package shall be fully considered, and there shall be obvious marks on the outside of the package.
④ Product weight. For heavy products, special attention should be paid to the strength of the packaging to ensure that they are not damaged in circulation.
⑤ Product structure. Different products often have different structures, some are not pressure resistant, and some are afraid of impact. Only when the product structure is fully understood can different products be properly packaged.
⑥ Product value. The value of different products varies greatly, and the high value ones should be considered.
⑦ Product hazard. For inflammable, explosive, toxic and other dangerous products, safety shall be ensured, and precautions and specific marks shall be provided on the outside of the package.
(2) Impact of environment on products
In the process of circulation, products will encounter different environments, which will have different effects on packaging, so corresponding measures should be taken.
① Meteorological conditions. They mainly include sunshine, temperature, humidity, rain, snow and air, etc., which have different effects on different products, which need to be considered separately according to different meteorological conditions.
② Loading and unloading conditions. The conditions such as manual loading and unloading or mechanical loading and unloading, and the number of loading and unloading shall be considered.
③ Transportation conditions. In the process of transportation, products will be affected by impact and vibration, and different transportation tools have different effects on packaging. Product fixation and buffering shall be mainly considered.
④ Storage conditions. For storage and multi-purpose stacking, the compressive strength shall be inspected for packaging. In addition, the storage is also divided into indoor storage and outdoor storage. The former should pay attention to moisture-proof, mold proof and waterproof; The latter shall be protected from rain and snow, sunshine and wind.
(3) Selection of packaging method
The choice of packaging mode is very important for product protection. Only by comprehensively understanding the product performance and circulation conditions, formulating several schemes and conducting economic evaluation can we find a suitable packaging mode.
① Select the packaging material. According to the product performance, select the appropriate packaging materials to make the packaging container, and select the appropriate auxiliary packaging materials to package the product.
② Select the packaging method. According to the requirements of product protection strength, convenient use, convenient mechanical loading and unloading and transportation, appropriate packaging process and packaging method shall be selected.
